How micro-contributions become community employment
Unemployment in our districts is rarely a shortage of ideas — it is a shortage of the first $2,000. We collect small, transparent contributions, match them with training and mentorship, and hand the project to the people who will run it.

01Micro-contributions pool
Gifts as small as $5 are pooled per project until a project's equipment budget is fully covered.
02Training before capital
Every applicant completes trade skills and basic bookkeeping training before funds are released.
03Public reporting
Jobs created, revenue and repayments are reported back so supporters see exactly what changed.

Each project team sets its own budget and reports back publicly. Fund a single project or spread small contributions across several.
Call for proposals
Have a business idea but no start-up capital?
If you are unemployed and living in one of our districts, submit your project idea. Our livelihoods team reviews proposals every two weeks and shortlisted applicants are invited to a costing and mentorship session.
- • Individuals and groups of up to 20 members are welcome.
- • Budgets between $500 and $5,000 are considered.
- • A business plan helps, but we can help you write one.
